It was swelteringly hot in Suffolk - 32 degrees at one point - but by 8pm the day had cooled into a perfect summer evening. I wore a floaty Zara dress with simple flats and statement jewels, and Rob snapped these photos in the glorious hotel grounds just before we sat down for dinner.
We had an absolutely amazing weekend - the food was so utterly delicious, the weather was wonderful, the hotel was spotless and luxurious. I rarely spend an entire weekend away from my computer so it was nice to leave it behind and just have fun... although I did do some Instagramming. I'm only human, after all.
I don't usually post personal photos on the blog (bit funny about things like that, not sure why), but I thought this one deserved a share. I love that Rob's shirt coordinates with the flowers - he's a keeper!
Do you allow yourself time offline at the weekend? Feels good, doesn't it?
Looks beautiful! Amazing clutch - I find so many clutches can barely fit a phone inside them so this one is amazing :)

Looks like a great weekend! The weekend is the only time I really have for blogging/browsing, but my school schedule has really calmed down this year so hopefully I can turn my weekends in to a bit more of an internet-free zone - minus instagram of course!
